Savannah Thorstensen loved cheerleading since a young age and was excited to perform in the upcoming game at her school. While preparing for a high-power jump sequence, Savannah sprained her ankle and couldn’t finish the sequence. Anxious about her ability to perform in the upcoming game, she came to the emergency department at CHA HPMC with her family to check the injury.

“Going by our previous experiences, we were worried that would have to wait for a long time to be seen at the ED. But we were surprised to see the short wait and quality care. The ED staff were not only compassionate but also encouraged and cheered my daughter to perform her best in the upcoming game,” said Savannah’s father Ron Thorstensen.

The ED team made sure that Savannah received the best care and was all set to perform in her much awaited game!
