Patient RelationsWhile you are a patient at our hospital, the Patient Relations department at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is available to assist you and your family. We know the hospital experience may be stressful, and we are committed to making your stay and visit as comfortable as possible. Your physical and emotional comfort is important to us.
Patient Relations is here to help ensure that your overall experience with HPMC is positive. If you or a family member has a question or concern about your care or our services, we are here to assist.
Interpreter Services are provided at no cost to each patient at our hospital. Please notify your nurse or any staff member if you or your family members need interpreting services. Below are the two methods of interpretation that we offer here at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center:
The CyraCom Telephone Interpreter Service is available in every room. This system includes interpreters for over 200 languages and is available 24 hours a day over the phone.
Video Remote Interpretation (VRI)
Our VRI cart is a video-telecommunication service that provides sign language interpreting services through live video. Video remote interpretation for American Sign Language (ASL) allows our staff the ability to have immediate communication with a Deaf or Hard of Hearing patient.
We visit with patients on a daily basis to offer them and their family practical assistance and emotional support throughout their stay
