Los Angeles Fetal Surgery at CHA HPMC

CHA HPMC is now home to one of the few fetal surgery centers in the US. Our facility will house comprehensive fetal treatments and procedures, with patients coming from around the country to obtain specialized care.

Los Angeles Fetal Surgery’s mission is to provide innovative, minimally invasive fetal treatments to improve fetal and maternal health outcomes and quality of life for families, and to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary care, in an atmosphere of compassion and respect.

Internationally renowned leader in minimally invasive fetal surgery, Dr. Ramen Chmait will head this initiative. As Program Director of Los Angeles Fetal Surgery, Dr. Chmait will bring decades of expertise including over 100 published manuscripts on the topic of “Fetal Medicine and Surgery”.
