Sandra Farfan Reyes Shares Experience of Delivering First Baby at CHA HPMC

Sandra Farfan Reyes chose CHA HPMC, LA’s second largest and highly rated maternity hospital, to welcome her baby after reading positive reviews about our hospital on Google. “Dr. Jonathan Azzizadeh and the hospital staff had good reviews, so I scheduled an appointment. Even though I live in Long Beach, I chose to come here to deliver my baby,” says the first-time mom.

Sandra received prenatal care under Dr. Azzizadeh and she is very happy that he also delivered her baby. “I’ve heard that your OB doctor doesn’t usually deliver the baby and it’s the doctor on call that delivers. I was very happy when Dr. Azzizadeh delivered my baby. I had to undergo a C-section and he made me feel safe and comfortable. He kept me and my husband informed about the whole delivery process,” she said.

Sandra spoke all praises of the nursing team. “They are very attentive and answered all my questions,” she says. “The nurses prepared and educated us on how to take care of the baby at home which is very important because we are first-time parents.”
