Norberto Masangkay and his family are no strangers to CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (CHA HPMC). Norberto’s daughter was born at CHA HPMC over 40 years ago and they never forgot the level of care they received. Thirty-five years later, in 2011, Norberto’s wife had fallen and the ambulance was called. She was brought to CHA HPMC and left with a crown.
“It was like vacation for her,” said Norberto’s daughter, Rovi. “Everyone loved her, she asked to be Facebook friends with some of the nurses. They even gave her a crown when she left.”
After discovering Norberto needed physical therapy, Rovi and her mother decided CHA HPMC would be a great place considering the care they had experienced in the past.
“We have had a handful of the best nurses and physical therapists. We come back because the care is so great. I’d even come here for my own care.” Said Rovi.
