Upon learning about her pregnancy, first-time mom Ambrosia Mcmillin began researching about the best hospitals in Los Angeles and considered various aspects such as physician ratings, maternity services, and nursing staff. After conducting careful research and also receiving a reference from her physician, Ambrosia chose CHA HPMC to deliver her first child.

“I am very happy with my choice as my care experience was great. It was a long, painful 36
hours of labor but the team ensured that I had a smooth experience and made me
comfortable,” she says.

After the delivery, Ambrosia and her newborn settled in their private room. During her stay, our compassionate caregivers took care of her and the baby. “The nurses were wonderful throughout my stay. I had to take an epidural to cope with the labor pain and couldn’t move. They made sure to move me periodically and also gave me a peanut ball,” she says, adding that the nurses kept her husband well-informed about the entire delivery process.

Ambrosia is looking forward to enjoying motherhood and cherishing every little moment with her baby. Congratulations to the new mom!
