Dr. Thomas L Horowitz is a family medicine specialist in Los Angeles, providing patient-centered and relationship-based primary care for patients of all ages. Dr. Horowitz completed his residency in Family Medicine and he is Board Certified in Family Practice. He practices at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, St. Vincent Medical Center, Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center, and Good Samaritan Hospital. He has served on the editorial board of ‘Rx for Prevention’, an online a publication of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) intended for physicians and other health care providers practicing in Los Angeles County, and he is on the Editorial Board of Los Angeles Medicine. He currently serves as an the Associate Professor of Family Practice at Tuoro College of Osteopathic Medicine the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. During his 37 years of practice, Dr. Horowitz has also been actively involved in community and state issues, including providing public health consulting for governments, and serving and chairing commissions and task forces of various government programs and commissions. He consults with law enforcement and public health agencies on disaster and tactical medicine.
