Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist
Dr. Jamie Chia Lin is an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist at Pacifica Health, a multi-specialty practice focused on primary care and women’s health services, located at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (CHA HPMC). Dr. Lin has been in practice for over ten years and offer a full scope of women’s health services in the Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley area. She treats patients age 11 and above and offers a wide range of services including prenatal care, pregnancy testing, gynecological services, annual exams, cervical cancer screening, sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing, pelvic pain management, family planning, birth control, and intrauterine devices (IUDs).
Dr. Lin earned her degree in medicine at New York Medical College and did her residency at State University of New York in Long Island College Hospital. During her residency, she earned many awards including OB/Gyn Resident Excellence Award for her surgical skills in 2009. She is a proud member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lin is currently on staff at CHA HPMC, Garfield Medical Center, and Good Samaritan Hospital.
Besides practicing medicine, Dr. Lin takes pride in giving back to the community by assisting students who wish to pursue a career in medicine for various professional schools. She served as the clinical site director for the University of Southern California’s School of Medicine Residency Program at Good Samaritan Hospital from 2019 to 2020. She also served as Assistant Professor for California North State University School of Medicine. She serves as the Obstetrics and Gynecology proctor for the Nurse practitioner program for Azusa Pacific University, Duke University, and Western University, and the Physician Assistant program for the University of La Verne. She has also assisted several Federal Qualified Health Centers located in the East Los Angeles and Greater Los Angeles area as the Obstetrics and Gynecology consultant.
A mother of two, Dr. Lin enjoys spending her time off with her family and children doing outdoor activities.
