Dr. Martin obtained both her MD and Masters in Public Health (MPH) in Global Environmental Health at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her residency in General Surgery through the University of Hawaii in Honolulu and she is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Her research interests include trauma and acute care surgery outcomes as well as environmental health and its relationship with surgical disease.
