Ramen Chmait, M.D., Director of Fetal Therapy

Dr. Chmait is the Director of Fetal Therapy and Minimally Invasive Fetal Surgery at the CHLA-USC Institute for Maternal and Fetal Health at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Chmait received his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed his Internship and Residency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, and Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of California, San Diego.

After Fellowship, Dr. Chmait joined the Fetal Surgery Program at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida, where he gained extensive experience in operative fetoscopy and invasive perinatology. He joined the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at USC in 2006. Dr. Chmait may be contacted directly at chmait@usc.edu.
