The Medical Staff Services Department provides a variety of administrative and management support services to approximately 600 members of the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center Medical Staff and the Hospital at large. The department manages the credentialing process and a variety of daily hospital organizational processes for which the Medical Staff has responsibility. The following medical staff management professionals form the department team:

Rudy Brown, BSB/M, CPMSM, Director, Medical Staff Services, Continuing Medical Education, Graduate Medical Education, and Medical Library
Rudy directs the day-to-day operations of the Department and coordinates the Medical Executive Committee, Credentials Committee, Bioethics Committee, Interdisciplinary Practice Committee and Quarterly Medical Staff Meetings.

Tes Rodriguez, Credentialing Coordinator
Tes coordinates initial appointment and reappointment credentialing and proctoring and assists with the Credentialing Committee.

Frank Kasprzyk, Credentialing Coordinator
Frank coordinates initial appointment and reappointment credentialing and proctoring and assists with the Credentialing Committee.

Giselle Aquino, B.A., Continuing Medical Education Coordinator
In addition to coordinating continuing medical education programs and the CME Committee, Giselle also coordinators the Cancer Services Committee, Departments of Anesthesia, Family Practice, Medicine, Pathology, Surgery, and the Quality Management and Research Oversight Committees.

Del Asuncion, B.S., Graduate Medical Education Coordinator.
In addition to coordinating the Graduate Medical Education Committee, Del also coordinates the Cardiology and Gastroenterology Sections, Departments of Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Infection Control and Utilization Management Committees.

Pacita Estepa, Medical Librarian
As the medical librarian at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, Pacita is managing the transition to an electronic library, i.e., a virtual reference desk, implementing an online library catalogue system and online access to electronic books and journals. Learn more about the Library.
