Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) Provider/ Renewal

Course Description:
This class is designed to provide healthcare professionals with materials and training necessary to resuscitate the neonate according to the specifications of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Key teaching points in each lesson will be reviewed. The written exams are administered and graded prior to proceeding to skill station for evaluation.

Requirement:

• Participants must bring current BLS card to the class. Renewal participants must have a current NRP card and must bring card to class.
• NRP text book/ CD (5th edition) MUST be obtained and reviewed prior to attending class. NRP books may be purchased online at http://aha.channing-bete.com or at http://www.eworldpoint.com. Books are also available for purchase from California School of Health Sciences at http://www.hprovider.com or on the day of the class (you MUST bring cash or check only).
• Review (5th Edition) NRP Manual lessons 1-9. Written exams will be administered and graded prior to proceeding to skill station for evaluation.
• Participants are required to bring the NRP book to attend the class.
