Advanced Cardiac Life Support- Initial (2 Days)

Course Description:
This two-day class is designed to certify medical professionals as ACLS Providers and to increase their skills in the management of cardiac arrest. The lectures, skill stations and test adhere to the guidelines of the American Heart Association. Participants will gain hands-on experience in Code management.

Requirements:

• Participants must bring current BLS provider card to the class.
• Arrhythmia recognition highly recommended
• ACLS Book/CD (2006 Version) should be obtained and reviewed prior to attending class. ACLS books may be purchased online at http://aha.channing-bete.com or at http://www.eworldpoint.com. Books are also available for purchase from California School of Health Sciences at http://www.hprovider.com or on the day of the class (you MUST bring cash or check only).
• Participants are required to bring the ACLS book to attend the class.
