The Versant RN Residency is a comprehensive, evidence-based program for new nursing graduates. The program helps participants gain the experience, judgment, skills and confidence needed to navigate the complexity of hospital life. The content and processes associated with this program are designed to help Versant RN Residents progress to a competent level of nursing - quickly, safely, and effectively.

Residents participating in the Versant RN Residency show dramatic improvements in skill, competence and confidence, as compared to new graduates who do not participate in the residency. Fully integrated into the hospital’s existing educational structure, the residency prepares new graduates by organizing and overseeing all aspects of their experience. It promotes standardization across all participating departments, eliminating variance in clinical practice.
